Senior Analyst, Corporate Planning

This role reports into the Sr Manager, Planning & Forecasting.

 

Corporate Planning is looking for a creative and analytical finance professional that thrives on working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be part of a high performing team with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements along with strong technical skills in Excel and reporting systems (experience with SAP, BPC and HANA is preferred). 

 

What you will do:
 

Lead monthly consolidated outlooks, quarterly forecasts and annual budget processes utilizing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Provide monthly analysis, commentaries, and financial packages for presentation to the ELT and Board Review forecast inputs received from various departments on behalf of all BUs (capital, leases, ARO/ERL, etc.) and communicate updates, analysis and supporting information effectively and timely Partner with internal stakeholders such as BU Decision Support and other Finance departments Develop and implement recurring analysis as it relates to cash management which include working capital, cash from operations, ROIC as examples Key resource for SAC users - support users through training, troubleshooting, knowledge sharing and effective communication around updates and improvements to processes and systems Maintain FP&A Governance and Policies including assumptions for budgets, outlooks and forecasts and ensure there is alignment across BU FP&A processes Recommend opportunities to improve efficiencies and automate reporting Keep abreast of current trends and practices in the fertilizer industry as it relates to FP&A Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What you will bring:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and a professional accounting designation (preferred) 6+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis is preferred Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (proficiency in Excel a must), SAP, BPC, and HANA Ability to work with a variety of technological tools in an efficient manner Strong conceptual knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Self-starting attitude with a high energy level, demonstrated success in a fast-paced, and deadline driven environment Commitment to sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side others in a diverse culture
