The Insights & Solutions team provides critical analysis through five functional groups within US Retail Markets:

Distribution, Marketing & Experience Insights & SolutionsData OfficeClaims & Service, Insights & SolutionsKnowledge & Development Solutions Data Science

 

The Direct Operational Analytics team is looking for highly motivated senior analyst with strong analytical and technical skills to join the KPI team. The team is tasked with ensuring the operational health of the Direct channel by analyzing funnel performance and producing forecasts. You will be part of a team that generates analytical insights and accurate forecasts to influence real-time operational levers for a $4B direct-to-consumer personal lines channel, inclusive of digital and call center sales. Additionally, you will partner with other Analytics, Operations, and Finance teams to fully understand operational and financial results for the channel.

 

The successful candidate must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and experience executing analytical projects.  They will also have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain their work to various audiences.

 

This role may have in-office requirements dependent on candidate location.

 

Responsibilities:

Understand KPI trends and drivers, on a segment and channel level, to assess performance to forecast and overall operational health.Develop and perform monitoring of real-time and monthly results vs. expectations, performing investigations into meaningful deviations.Perform forecasting of key trends, to inform operational and financial planning.Complete monthly operating reports (MOR) and lead Direct financial planning.Partner closely with Office of Data & Reporting (ODR) to prioritize and develop standard reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum 3 years, typically 4 or more years of experience, or equivalent, is required. Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field are preferred fields of study. Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles and methodologies, and techniques. Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.), PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem). Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills. Solid understanding of business to improve business outcomes. About Us
