Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. ● Perform structured process automation projects according to the capability analysis.
● Experience in programming PLCs, microcontrollers and programming languages for robots (Allen Bradley,such
as Python, C/C++, MATLAB, ROS,FANUC,ABB,KUKA).
● Design, control development and automation systems for industrial robots according to the process analysis
and capability.
● Program robots and develop advanced control algorithms (PID, adaptive control, predictive control, etc.).
● Lead the technical requirements analysis and make a effectiveness evaluation of the mechanical and hydraulics
systems for the projects.
● Integrate communication and signal processing technologies into robotic systems necessary for the projects
and according with the approved CAPEX.
● Experience in industrial automation technologies (SCADA, HMI, communication protocols such as Modbus,
CAN, etc.).
● Strong experience with the implementation of sensors, actuators, controllers and motors (servo motors, stepper
motors, etc.) for automation projects and process optimization.
● Problem solving of technical problems in control systems and robotics.
● Interaction with suppliers for the supervision and follow up of activities .
● Identify and solve and also to design innovative, cost effective and highly processed automation projects.
● Stay abreast of new technologies in robotics and automation to apply continuous improvements.
● Supervise the installation, calibration and maintenance of robotic systems.
● Perform follow up meetings to check the plan progress and effectiveness to improve according to the
effectiveness evaluation.
Work with HSE to perform the JSRA risk analysis for the different steps of the project.
● Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, operation manuals, management and control of the
technical information; manuals, technical sheets, drawings, data sheets and diagrams of the components and
equipment of the machines.
● Active participation with manufacturing plant teams to support the strategies planning for short and mid term to
perform new projects.
● Perform and delivery of documentation; work instructions, OPL, SOP and SMP needed for all routine tasks and
activities oto close the projects.
● Create learned lessons, documentation of knowledge, best practices, and feedback of designs and deliverables
for the next projects.
● Carry out the new technology operation training to the stakeholders and team members.
● Lead the technical requirements analysis and make an effectiveness evaluation of the systems required for the
projects.
● Ensure process evaluation to determine the needs of components, spare parts, material, tools and equipment
necessary to have for the automation projects.
● Responsible for the systems tests and trials performed in the automation projects.
● Control of the technical information; operation manual, spare parts technical data sheets, wear components
drawings and diagrams of the systems of the project.
● Make weekly presentation reports and punctual follow up meetings to review progress and to improve the plan
according to the effectiveness evaluation.
8 years of experience in manufacturing leadership.
● Experience in the implementation of process improvement and optimization projects.
● Experience using CAD 3D modeling software.
● Background in the Maintenance department.
