The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express products and services through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing, and experiences. We have an ambitious goal: to be the most admired brand in the Fortune 500 and we aim to deliver on that by doing work that is both creative and effective. The Premium Events and Experiences Team sits within GABM. The team executes and enables memorable events and experiences for our proprietary premium Card Members while delivering on product goals and benefit partner experiences. Experiences are a core passion of our Members, and drive loyalty and engagement with our products and our brand.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Events and Experiences, to be a key member of the team and play a critical role in overseeing Card Member experiences. This individual will oversee Premium Events CollectionTM experiences and support product experiential priorities across Gold, Platinum, and Centurion Card portfolios.
The role requires strong collaboration across multiple cross-functional business partners, including Product, Business Development, Sponsorships, Brand, Marketing, PR/Social, GCO, Compliance, and Servicing. In addition, the Senior Analyst will work directly with agency partners in building and executing experiential concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end strategy and execution for Premium Events CollectionTM experiences at US Festivals Oversee value proposition creation for experience Build marketing and ticketing strategy to drive CM awareness and sales Partner with Enterprise counterparts on look and feel of on-site spaces Manage budget and results to inform future learnings Oversee Platinum benefit partner experiences, including New York Times, Peacock, and Disney Build experiences aimed to drive awareness and enrollment in the digital entertainment credit benefit Partner closely with business development team on annual support calendar to deliver on partner objectives Support product experiential initiatives across Gold, Platinum, and Centurion Card Products Work closely with event managers on delivering product experiential goals Provide strategic project and incremental experience support as neededSkills:
Previous marketing background and a creative, strategic thinker with strong track record of delivering quantifiable results Proven track record in managing multiple workstreams, partners and cross-functional teams Demonstrated ability to work proactively and drive results with minimal direction Strong partner management experience and relationship building abilities Exceptional verbal/written communication skills Confidence in working with individuals at all levels of the organization Strong interest in events with event ideation/production experience a plus Proficient in PowerPoint and ExcelSalary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
