This role in summary

This individual will be responsible for supporting the Extended Service Plans (ESP) Operations Managers in a variety of day-to-day tasks related to the Domestic & General (D&G), Whirlpool, and American International Group (AIG) extended service plan programs as well as taking an active role in current project work related to new business development, process improvement, and strategic growth.  This individual will be responsible for the run-off of the AIG program, standard work documentation of the Ops Manager roles, and a variety analysis efforts aimed at improving the overall health and operational reporting capabilities of the ESP business. Currently, the ESP team is undergoing multiple transformational changes with high visibility to Senior Leadership and future growth opportunities within the team.

Your responsibilities will include

Primary Focus:

Work with partners to build, modify and monitor performance metrics; develop insights based improvementsMonitor day-to-day operational excellence for Whirlpool (WHR) Call Center, Direct to Consumer, and Brands communications and how any impacts are driven to our SOPs for day-to-day operationsCollaborate with marketing/registration resource on enhancements to benefit programs based on feedback from Consumer Services (CS) interactionsUnderstand impacts of ESP sales, consumer benefits, impacts of claims on reserve health, etc. to Whirlpool and understand the differences and benefits of each program.Standardize Operations (ops) Manager roles via standard work playbook facilitating growth within the team3rd Party underwriter relationship and ops support; standard operating procedures (SOPs) development

Secondary Focus:

Own and develop statements of work with internal partners (execution processes)Work on sales exception processes and improve / automateSupport ESP Systems for issues arising from the Consumer Services organization as needed.Learn systems that impact the ESP program for problem resolution, data extracts and process improvement.Minimum requirements Bachelor’s degree2+ years of accounting, finance, operations, supply chain or sales experiencePreferred skills and experiences Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business AdministrationContinuous Improvement/OpEx certifications and/or training experience (CIF, Business OpEx)1+ years experience working in eCRM2+ years experience in Tableau/Dashboard development3+ years of WHR systems including SAP3+ years experience with Google Sheet and/or Excel with ability to develop operational metrics
