This position is responsible for preparing certain quarterly and annual reports that support our SEC filings. The position has primary responsibility for our quarterly supplemental information for Earnings Release. Duties also include coordinating the quarterly financial statement calendar and responsibility matrix, participation in our related party task force, annual questionnaires as well as the preparation of various financial statement disclosures, providing support for external auditors during their review of quarterly financial information, and ad hoc requests to support compliance with regulatory requirements. The candidate must be able to research accounting and disclosure related issues and work directly with the Controller, Executive Leadership Team and external auditors.
Responsibilities May Include:
Compile & quality check the supplemental information for Earnings Release. Completion of assigned disclosures for the company’s quarterly SEC reporting on Form 10-Q and annual reporting on Form 10-K. Coordination of certain annual questionnaires and associated training. Assisting Legal, HSE and other groups with various requests to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Preparation and coordination of Phillips 66 Savings Plan filing and Retirement Plan Audit. Key role in Related Party Task Force. Preparation and coordination of financial assurance letters.
Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States BA in Accounting 5+ years financial reporting or public accounting experience Excellent research, analytical and organizational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Workiva
