Senior Analyst, Finance Technology

Applications will be accepted up to 90 days after the posting date, or until the position is filled (whichever is first). **Job Summary:** Vail Resorts is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join the team! This role will partner with our Corporate Finance and IT departments to deploy and maintain Finance Technology solutions. Working cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, the Source to Pay teams, and other areas of IT, this person will be a leader in improving and growing technology for the business. The person in this role will perform system design and configuration and collaborate with the various teams to create forward-thinking, scalable solutions. This individual will also participate in application upgrades, analysis and design of new solutions, testing, and production support. **Job Responsibilities:** + Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders to assess and deliver projects within the project portfolio. + Lead requirements gathering, solution design, test script creation, and ensure thorough SOX-compliant testing adheres to change management life cycle requirements. + Proactively work with business partners to understand business challenges and opportunities from an IT lens. + Work on IT projects, system upgrades, application enhancements/defects, and production issues, concurrently. + Communicate and work closely with members of the Finance Technology team (Project Manager, Analysts, Solutions Architect, and Managers). + Works with application vendors to maintain existing interfaces with PeopleSoft Financials (ERP) and accommodate future ones. + Assist in performing upgrade testing, enhancement testing, etc. + Other duties as assigned **Job Qualifications:** **_Required:_** + 3+ years of professional experience in supporting enterprise applications + Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Accounting, Business, Technology or related field + Experience with software development lifecycles, implementations, and upgrades + Experience working with SaaS solutions + Experience with the following applications: Coupa, Onbase, Brainware and Concur + Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking with and translating between technical and non-technical team members at all levels of the organization + Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable IT solutions + Experience working with a cross-functional team in the areas of technology and finance + Experience writing SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and/or reconciliation + Works highly independently + Fluent in English **_Preferred:_** + Proficient with Atlassian products; Jira and Confluence + A history of leading and supporting successful projects + Experience providing technical PeopleSoft Financials (ERP) support + Experience in system integrations The expected Total Compensation for this role is $92,396 - $125,793 + annual bonus.
