JOB SUMMARY The Senior FP&A Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the Commercial and Contract business from a financial perspective to help the company understand variances on a monthly and yearly basis. This senior role is also responsible for preparing budgets and strategic forecasts, as well as analyzing and understanding top line revenue, excise tax, price promotion, freight and cost numbers as well as developing a working relationship with the Revenue Management team and the operations team. STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: Rochester, NY DEPARTMENT: Finance JOB TYPE: Exempt ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES + Analyze and prepares monthly results, looking at variances between Plan, Strategic Forecasts and PY. This plays a role in getting the financial package ready for FIFCO USA and Corporate HQ + Leader in the finance budget arena, working with various departments on maintaining and building their Original budgets and strategic forecasts. + Demonstrates a high level of understanding on how the Fiscal Year budget and strategic forecasts were built in order to better explain the assumptions and variances when comparing actuals + Proficiency in developing new tools and building financial models + Exhibits excellent communication skills and ability to form working relationship with each department within the company + Strong analytical skills and ability to identify budget gaps and make recommending corrective course of action. + Preparing month end reporting package for the senior finance team in Rochester and FIFCO + Work with Revenue management on revenue plan and implementation of pricing/discounting and how specific initiatives impact the revenue for the month + Working with IT on uploading the Fiscal Year plan and MYR numbers to help put together a forecasted P&L + Demonstrating the ability to lead on projects and ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner + Identify opportunities to leverage technology and use existing tools to help support analysis and reporting + Create financial models to help show financial position of the company/brands at different levels (Time, regions, etc.). + Is the Contract Financial Business Partner; full up support on budgeting, monthly reviews and high level analysis who is able to make strategic recommendations. + Provide strong ad hoc financial and business decision support on numerous revenue and marketing initiatives, return on investment analyses and/or other assigned projects assigned by Director of FP&A/CFO + Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment. In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $84,600 – 127,000 not including benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at FIFCO USA, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to enable future & continued salary growth.
