THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Senior Analyst, Indirect Procurement, you will serve as the liaison between internal customers and vendors. Lead various procurement projects that include areas of purchasing, contracting, sourcing, and supply management. Manage the procurement of assigned category within indirect procurement, making sure vendors are meeting Chipotle's product standards, delivery schedules and other service level requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Monitor supplier performances, make recommendations, and influence stakeholders for additions/deletions from supplier pool as appropriate. Provide suppliers with feedback and help to identify continuous improvement projects.Perform tactical and strategic functions related to daily procurement function which may include, but is not limited to, cost analysis, cost negotiation, contract management, redlining contracts, develop scope of work, leading and supporting RFP/RFI.With Manager, develop and implement strategy for effective contract and supply negotiations to ensure lowest total ownership cost at right quality.For assigned projects: participate, and lead in planning meetings and product evaluations with all stakeholders and recommend potential changesPerform category analysis, assisting in development of strategies, presenting to stakeholders, and implementing strategy to minimize supply chain riskGain and demonstrate knowledge on underlying supply markets and understand pricing impactsIdentify and put in place appropriate SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) interventions including supplier management activities around supplier reviews, service level agreements and ensure the contracts continues to be robust and meet Chipotle’s needsKeep a watchful eye on underlying supply markets, environment and the changing needs of the business and identify when action is needed in response to any change or cost impact in their categoryWith Manager, maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships, and be accountable for resulting business performanceAnalyze assigned category to find potential cost-saving opportunities and perform cost analysis exercises without compromising supply assurance or qualityActively monitor and maintain supplier price tracker and supplier document compliancePrepare for and actively participate in supplier, team, and cross-functional meetingsWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred.3-5 years of Strategic Sourcing/Procurement experience requiredSupply chain management related certification: CPIM, CPSM, CSCP, six sigma, etc. preferred.Moderate to advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 appsAbility to perform proficient to moderate data analysis, financial analysis, superior communication, and presentation skills.Moderate skills in negotiation and influencing.Understanding of procurement process: spend analysis, opportunity identification, RFI/RFP process, stakeholder management, negotiations, and contractingContribute to, and assist in executing against, sourcing strategies for assigned categoryUnderstand spend, items and vendor profiles across assigned categoriesDevelop sourcing hypothesis and strategies to help maximize company objectivesWork with cross-functional teams to validate, test, implement, and achieve sourcing goals.Measure value captured, monitor and report on performance Commitment to work with business stakeholder groups to identify needs, test and qualify new or existing capable suppliers, initiate requests for proposals/quotations (RFPs/RFQs), or contract renewals, and advise on vendor price, quality, availability, reliability, and supportStrong verbal and written communication skills to lead moderately complex negotiations with vendors, on behalf of stakeholders and Chipotle, to unlock and maximize supplier valueManage and be a point of contact for supplier relationships focusing on supply risk mitigation, contract compliance, and cost fluctuationsStudy market trends and conditions, supply markets and changes, and use results to enable Chipotle’s strategic objectivesWork with other Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, Development, Sustainability, Food Safety, IT, Facilities, and Culinary teams in managing product cost, lead-times, and supplier capacity.Willingness to travel up to 15% of the timePAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $84,000.00–$117,000.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
