Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is looking for a Senior Analyst, Investment & Portfolio Review – SFS Equity Finance

As a member of the Investment and Portfolio Review team (f/m/d) you will join a newly formed team of investment professionals that facilitates investment decision-making and supports SFS EQ in achieving our high-reaching portfolio goals.

The responsibilities of the Investment & Portfolio Review team include engaging with transaction teams, regional management, SFS EQ management, as well as with stakeholders outside SFS EQ including specialists and SFS decision-making bodies.

You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

Contributing to the balance of risk/return profiles across all regions by sharing experiences, calibrating overriding assumptions and closely supporting the transaction teams and the risk organization in the approval process  Ensuring quality assurance through plausibility checks and intensive review of the assumptions made and financial model content  Coordinating our approval process on the EQ side and make recommendations on the implementation of the investment to the Partner Board Driving the continuous improvement of processes, tools and procedures across regions and promote and formalize the overall exchange of experience Carrying out the continuous monitoring of the portfolio according to standardized criteria Making strategic recommendations for portfolio assets based on a cross-regional approach Leading standardized reviews in the approval process on the SFS EQ transaction team's evaluations and also global portfolio reviews Having the responsibility to interact with specialist functions, management and other stakeholders

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

University degree in Finance, Business Administration or related degree Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or Private Equity with the following: Active involvement in investment processes with investment expertise in equity and/or debt  Experience of the due diligence environment and undertaking valuation and financial analysis, including building and updating financial model(s), with support and guidance from other team members Capability to prepare market research and analysis, management reports and presentations for the Leadership team Experience in one of the core industries of Siemens AG or SFS investments Practical experience of market and competitive developments in SFS EQ's focus industries Working knowledge of the financial services industry and the captive finance business, esp. about the business and the products & solutions Cooperating with cross-national teams and projects Work experience abroad (e.g English-speaking or Asian countries)  Enthusiasm for identifying and implementing relevant measures to improve/promote investment assessments Very good English skills, a collaborative working style and good communication skills complete your profile Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
