Senior Analyst, Last Mile Delivery

The Sr. Analyst is expected to become the Last Mile Delivery team’s subject matter expert with respect to best shipping practices, business processes and the TMS system supporting this program. The prospective hire must have an adept understanding of data analytics and retail business practices to assist in defining business strategies that enable improved data visibility, cost management, and customer service. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will be responsible for serving as a departmental liaison between various internal & external business partners with a specific focus on reducing shipping costs while ensuring SLAs are met/exceeded. Additionally, this role may include the opportunity & responsibility to support other initiatives and objectives across the broader Last Mile Delivery team. **Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:** + Support the implementation of plans, procedures, programs and strategies to enhance performance, service levels, cost savings and productivity. + Provide daily, weekly and ad hoc KPI reporting, including by not limited to: deliveries’ on-time performance, cost savings, backlogged orders, parcels’ time in transit, internal order fulfillment, costs per package, etc. + Support day to day activities with all couriers/carriers and vendors within the B2C last mile services. + Perform root cause analyses and strategize corrections to irregularities and low performance in vendor services, couriers’ shipping performance, CVS’ internal order processing and fulfillment. **Required Qualifications and Functions** **:** + Minimum 1 year of similar or relevant work experience. + Minimum 1 year prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite and various data systems. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Self-starter who is able to work both independently and as a member of an integrated item. + Effective time management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple direct & indirect initiatives. + Ability to gather, analyze, and present data to influence outcomes and support/create department short term and long term goals & objectives. + Strong verbal, written communication and people skills with the ability to communicate and present in concise, and actionable manner to various levels of leadership. + Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-pace environments and navigate through change, coupled with collaboration and influencing skills to successfully operate cross functionally throughout the last mile and retail organization. + Ability to diagnose problems, seek insights beyond the immediately obvious, and recommend practical/sustainable solutions. + Demonstrate CVS Health HAWBs in your day to day, and contribute to our enterprise culture & team engagement. **Education:** Bachelor degree or equivalent experience **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $112,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
