About the Team

You will be part of the Digital Marketing team responsible for media planning, execution, and optimization of William-Sonoma, Inc.'s advertising campaigns across all 9 Brands and International efforts. WSI manages all digital programs in-house and this role is critical in ensuring that campaign performance data is accurate, delivered to cross-functional stakeholders in a timely manner, and visualized to easily draw insights for ongoing program optimizations. This role reports into the Display org, but supports all marketing channels.

 

About the Role

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Analyst, Marketing Business Intelligence who is responsible for processing data, developing dashboards, and extracting actionable insights for cross-functional marketing teams including digital, CRM, analytics, and data science. He or she will work closely with these teams to build data flows from various inputs, create reports/visualizations in Domo (our BI platform), and drive informed/actionable insights to help all teams optimize campaigns within their specific areas of the business. The ability to recognize and understand trends, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and solve complex problems within the digital marketing landscape are key to success within this role.

Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify data sources, and learn the nuances of each program/channel to develop data-based solutions specific to their goals Design, build, and automate key metrics into self-service dashboards, enabling cross-functional teams to take quick action based on real-time data Understand strategic business priorities and build visualizations to provide insights that can inform overall investment/optimization strategies  Create and maintain reports and cards within Domo that will be viewed by executives, brand partners, and marketing team Own the development and ongoing maintenance of all metrics, dimensions, and data flows to ensure accuracy of all published data Build out connectors required to bring in new reporting sources/inputs using SFTP, API, Email, or custom connections Write Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) and SQL jobs to build out desired outputs for ideal data visualization  Build processes for marketing-wide data governance to provide consistent metrics and dimensions across teams/lines of business Support the governance of the Domo platform by certifying dashboards and cards, maintaining user access levels, and organizing the dashboard hierarchy Develop data documentation that is easily comprehensible to internal stakeholders of various technical competencies  Create, present, and collaborate with Domo on structured education sessions/curriculum for the broader marketing team, with the goal of making users more self-sufficient within the Domo platform for ad hoc visualizations or projects

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience

* 3+ years of relevant work experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence or related field

* Experience working within Digital Marketing and Advertising

* Experience working in business intelligence software such as DOMO, Tableau , Power BI, Looker, Datorama. 

* Experience using, writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment

* Experience creating ETL jobs 

* Prior experience updating and creating reporting dashboards within a BI tool 

* Well-organized, high attention to detail, deadline-oriented

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

* Enjoys working with others as part of a team 

 

Preferred: 

* Adobe analytics experience from a reporting standpoint

*Site tagging knowledge and prior experience using Google Tag Manager, Tealium or Signal

*Prior experience with API connections, including setting up custom api connectors 

*Python, Java, or HTML experience 

*Hold Domo certifications or have prior experience in Domo platform.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $81,000 - $90,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
