Senior Analyst, Medical Economics

Position Summary
The successful candidate will be a member of the Aetna Pay for Performance team, within the Medical Economics Unit. This position will participate in payment audits and the monthly accounting close. Additional responsibilities include supporting audit requests, various ad hoc work, and projects. The right candidate will have an analytical mindset and will be a fast learner.


Responsibilities will include:

Assist in the month-end close process which includes auditing payment requests, processing manual adjustments and producing reports for key stakeholders.Develop working relationships with business stakeholdersWork with stakeholders to create ad hoc reportsParticipate in process improvement efforts


Required Qualifications

Comfort with using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite.2+ years of experience in a professional environmentAbility to quickly adapt to change as workflows and programs continually evolve


Preferred Qualifications

Able to meet the tight deadlines of the monthly Accounting closeSQL skills are highly desirableKnowledge of Oracle, SAP, SAS, VBA, Python a plusPossess strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong process improvement skills/mindset



Education

High School Diploma or GED RequiredBachelor’s in finance, Economics, Computer Science, or another related field preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $107,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
