Job Description Summary:
Under the general direction of the Manager of Pricing, the Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for preparing analyses supporting the development of individual proposals and contracts for Option Care Health’s products and service offerings within the pharmaceutical/alternate-site healthcare sector, including both Fee-For-Service and Value-Based-Care proposals. The Senior Analyst will utilize a variety of analytical methods, tools, models, and techniques, including utilizing government requirements to evaluate complex requests. Conducts analysis with precision, speed, and minimal oversight. Supports Junior team members as needed. Supports Managers and Directors within the Contracts & Pricing Development group facilitating a cross functional and collaborative working relationship with Finance, Sales, Revenue Cycle, and Operations colleagues. Assists Managers and Directors in the development of pricing strategies that maximize profitability for the customers and segments assigned.Job Description:
Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)Builds pricing models for drugs, services, and other pharmaceutical/infusion ventures.
Develops and prepares analytical models and corresponding account proposals ensuring they are complete in accordance with defined service levels and meet internal and external customer timelines.
Adheres to operational procedures to secure reliable data and prepare pricing scenarios utilizing established and novel models for purposes of developing and analyzing account proposals related to drugs and services for assigned customer segments and accounts.
Utilize SQL and other business intelligence tools to analyze large quantities of data, from multiple complex internal and external sources to gather actionable insights and measure progress toward strategic initiatives.
Assists departmental Managers and Directors in gathering and understanding pharmaceutical data, analyzing data and trends, monitoring performance, and preparing analyses in support of business.
Collaborates internally with other Analyst roles to stay current on OCH data systems, processes, tools, repositories, and best practices.
Collaborates with members of finance, operations, and compliance as pricing decisions are developed ensuring they are aligned with company strategies.
Researches customer and contract issues that may affect account planning, strategies and proposals.
Assists in the development of formal RFP responses as necessary with experience or knowledge in Risk Based contracting models. Presents individual account proposals to governing committees as needed.
Assists Directors and Managers in the contract drafting and red-lining processes on pricing drugs and therapies.
Serves as a pricing subject matter expert during analysis of business development opportunities.

Basic Education and/or Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in Analytics, Pricing, Managed Care, Statistics, Pharmaceuticals, or other Healthcare settings
Basic QualificationsStrong analytical and problem solving skills- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to function individually as well as in cross-functional teams. Ability to identify improvement and growth opportunities.
Advanced level Business Intelligence software skills, such as SQL, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Cognos, and Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including the ability to write custom queries
Expertise of common healthcare coding methodologies, including HCPCS Codes, CPT Codes, ICD Codes, etc. Working knowledge of common medical terminology
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
Ability to perform statistical analysis (regression analysis, hypothesis testing, etc). Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, and volume
Ability to work with confidential material and maintain confidentiality along with sensitivity to employees and customers needs and data
Strong communication skills both verbally and written
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and demanding project deadlines. Able to manage workflow in the face of competing deadlines.
Travel Requirements: (if required)Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)Master’s degree or similar in Business, Health Informatics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related discipline. Prior experience in healthcare analytics, revenue cycle, pricing, market access or contracting.
