Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Indirect Procurement Shared Services (IPSS) Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Senior Analyst, Procurement, Software Technology.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the creation and execution of category procurement strategies for Information Systems/Technology Software and Software Service categories. Other categories such as Professional Services and Hardware may be supported as needed in support of various enterprise projects, including leading sourcing and procurement activities for Toyota Financial Services and Toyota Motor North America.
Reporting to the Manager, IT Software Indirect Procurement / Strategic Sourcing, the person in this role will support the IPSS department's objective to implement software sourcing/procurement strategies to reduce cost and mitigate risk for the business while processing business requests to issue supplier PO’s.
This role is located in Plano, TX and is hybrid in nature, with a mix of in office days and some days working remotely; this could change in the future based on business needs. Candidates are expected to live within a commutable distance to Plano, TX. This role carries approximately 10% travel.
What You’ll Be Doing
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a negotiation plan and lead negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best value for the software product and associated services for Toyota while mitigating legal risks for the Enterprise.Driving Procurement activities for varying software types from perpetual licenses to Software as a Service (SaaS) for utilization by Toyota’s technology teams.Developing and implementing multi-year sourcing strategies for responsible software spend categories, using data analysis and internal collaboration.Developing strategies that consider One Toyota objectives, especially for shared suppliers and/or shared services/commodities across Toyota’s U.S. affiliates and global affiliates as applicable.Designing, planning, managing, and leading Requests for Proposals, information, quote, etc., with cross-functional teams for software and software implementation services as applicable.Negotiate pricing to achieve cost savings while mitigating financial and legal contractual risks for the enterprise.Supporting Toyota Legal and Indirect Procurement Shared Services (IPSS) Contracts with the development and execution of contractual documents including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Statement of Work, Master Services Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Software License Agreements, Services Agreements, and other contracts as necessary to support Procurement and business needs.Build and maintain close relationships with business units and supplier partners to deliver comprehensive and cross-enterprise process improvement solutions.Effectively manage all sourcing and price negotiation activities and in-coming ad hoc business unit requests resulting in a contract or purchase order.Process business requests to issue purchase orders to suppliers.Support Technology Procurement and Sourcing activities for TMNA, TFS, and other Toyota Affiliates as needed.What You Bring
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or similar field or equivalent experienceFive or more (5+) progressive years of experience with indirect procurement sourcing, contract drafting and negotiationTwo or more (2+) progressive years of experience with Software and related technology services sourcing and negotiationsIntermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Excel (ex.Vlookup, Pivot Tables)Hands on experience with Procure to Pay tools, including but not limited to AribaAdded Bonus If You Have
