Senior Analyst, Reporting Shared Services

Job Summary

As Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for the production, development, enhancement and maintenance of automated financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. You will provide production support for monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting activities and implement automated reporting solutions according to business requirements. You will also support Reporting Shared Services strategic direction and vision.

Job Description

What will you do?

·         Accountable for the production, maintenance, and enhancements of re quired financial reports.

·         Accountable for the timely development and delivery of scheduled, new and ad hoc reports and change requests.

·         Interact with business platforms to ensure accurate understanding of report requirements and provide timely response to user requests.

·         Ensure report and quality standards are adhered to and continuous improvement initiatives are embedded within report production and development.

·         Ensure adequate and up to date documentation on workflow tickets, report inventory, reporting processes and related activities/components.

·         Responsible for ensuring KPI (Key Performance Indicators), metrics and quality standards are adhered to.


What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or equivalent education and experience.Current on reporting requirements and automated methods and technology.Quick learner who is open to change to grasp new reporting tools within a very short time frame and apply the skills to develop, run and maintain financial reports.Advanced demonstrated technical skills in coding language (VBA, SQL, Other).Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel.


Nice-to-have:

Knowledge of Cognos TM1 Perspectives and/or IBM Planning Analytics for Excel.Preference will be given to applicants with advanced and demonstrated applied technical knowledge in VBA for Excel.Accounting/Finance DesignationLean Six Sigma tools/agile methodology and quality assurance
