JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox Ad Sales is looking for a Senior Analyst, Revenue Management & Strategy to join the Fox News Media Ad Sales Revenue Management & Strategy team based in New York, NY.  As a Senior Analyst, Revenue Management & Strategy you will support pricing and planning as well as Ad Sales.  The Senior Analyst, Revenue Management & Strategy support a department focused on increasing revenue by maximizing both short and long-term sales opportunities for Fox News, Fox Business and Fox Weather, with a concentration on linear media. You will assist in the continual re-evaluation of pricing, capacity, and processes to adjust strategies and tactics dynamically with the market.  Additionally, you will help combine insights, perform data mining and research to provide market-place overview while highlighting risks and opportunities.  

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide pricing and planning analytical support by developing and updating a variety of quantitative analysis

Articulate status of current inventory and provide available-to-sell reports.

Produce and/or assist in the production of analytical reports (e.g. CPM analysis, Remainder Analysis, and Inventory Utilization Reports).

Prepare analytical reports used by senior management and P&P to analyze network revenue/targets.

Take ownership of all financial reporting and inventory analysis for emerging Fox Weather property

Support the business by mining and maintaining accurate data sets

Communicate sales strategy to planners / assistants

Approve and process inventory upgrades/downgrades and strategic makegoods

Assist with the development of internal systems

Develop relationships with team members across business units

Ad-hoc analyses as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

BS or BA preferred

Must have at least 1-2 years of related experience.

Strong communication skills required, both written and verbal.

Excel proficiency is required, and experience with ad sales systems preferred.

Must have critical thinking skills, mathematical/analytical ability, strong follow-through and attention to detail

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-78,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $55,800.00-65,000.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
