Role & Responsibilities:
Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):
As Senior Analyst Strategy & Planning Underfoot Platforms you will be responsible to drive Strategic & Operational planning activities for all FTW Underfoot Platforms related materials. Lead the strategic planning process to ensure appropriate pre-positioning of nominated raw materials and allocation of tooling at manufacturing partnersLead the operational planning activities to ensure on-time delivery of all materials/components. Identifying and recommending mitigation actions to resolve delays associated to material supply from nominated supplier due to demand shifts, capacity problems, and forecast variances etc.Be a key thought partner for the Senior Manager Underfoot Platform & Materials Innovation during the development of material and supplier sourcing strategies.Lead seasonal supply planning and tooling allocations in order to deliver a risk balanced supply focused on optimizing quality and costLead and coordinate data collection and reporting in support FTW tooling & mold tracking, polymer supplier CSR compliance monitoring and reportingLead, manage and coordinate activities related to PLM record creation for Underfoot Platforms and materials. Working with suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure complete and accurate data enrichment Support cost management activities related to compounds and underfoot materialsLead and coordinate project management activities, supporting polymer operations engineers and brands as they drive innovation and new underfoot materials development.Key liason between Underfoot Platforms & Materials Group and other VF functions including costing, sustainable and responsible sourcing, product supplyAs SPM data owner for Underfoot Platforms & Materials will lead and coordinate Supplier Performance Management processes within the Underfoot Platforms and Materials Group. Supporting T2 supplier communications, monitoring corrective action plan submissions and implementation tracking.Key Result Areas:
Successful development and execution of strategic operational planning activities for underfoot materials.Partnered with cross functional teams to design and execute material preposition initiatives to enable On-Time Performance and expansion of key sustainable material initiativesSuccessful development of consolidated data collection processing in support of tooling management. Across new tooling approval, allocations and inventory management.Innovation & development projects delivered on-time and in support of brand strategies.Successful role out of SPM across T2 suppliers of underfoot platform materialsSuccessful creation of digital underfoot materials liberaryThrough cross functional collaboration, development of systems that support data driven compound costing processesCompetency Requirements:
