Job Description
Position Overview
The Senior Analyst, Sustainable Procurement will be responsible for supporting Invenergy’s efforts to drive Environmental Social Governance (ESG) throughout the Supply Chain. The analyst will support key sustainability initiatives such as Scope 3 emissions reduction efforts and Supplier Diversity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Compile and manage data from various sources to track supplier sustainability metrics, including emissions and supplier diversity.
Analyze procurement and emissions data to identify insights and improvement opportunities in sustainable sourcing efforts.
Develop and maintain dashboards for monitoring key performance indicators related to emissions, supplier diversity, and supplier sustainability performance.
Prepare presentations and content that communicates procurement sustainability efforts. Generate periodic reports. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
Support implementation and/or manage various projects and initiatives related to Scope 3 emissions reduction efforts and Supplier Diversity.
Conduct external and internal research, synthesize key insights, and outline suggested next steps to support Supplier Diversity and Scope 3 initiatives.
Support the preparation of data and relevant documentation for supply chain ESG inquiries from various stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in sustainability, supply chain management, business, environmental science, or a related field.
Strong quantitative skills and an ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
Ability to effectively communicate insights and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in data analysis, procurement, sustainability, or a related area.
Demonstrated knowledge of or strong interest in renewable energy and/or ESG.
Familiarity with greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting methodology, Product Carbon Footprint measurement methodology, and/or corporate Net Zero strategy is a plus.
Previous experience building dashboards in visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Demonstrated interest in supporting small and diverse business enterprise programs.
Knowledge of Supplier Diversity is a plus.
Base Pay
80,000.00 - 95,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 15%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
