The Senior Technology Procurement Analyst is a key member of the procurement team and has 3 primary areas of responsibility for WMTO: (1) technology hardware, software and services procurement, (2) procurement data standards and maintenance and (3) supplier account management. \n\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nTechnology Asset Procurement (70%)\nSource products from multiple resellers \nSeek alternate vendors and competitive pricing when advantageous \nNegotiate quotes for equipment and services when applicable \nMeet budgetary constraints by working with Tech Finance and BU to ensure purchase orders are coded to correct cost centers and accounts and that the Bill of Materials totals out at or below budget\nComplete purchase orders, monitoring all open purchase orders and providing order-tracking details as requested for technology related purchases, focusing on operating expense or workplace technology expense \nEnsure all purchase information is accurately and expeditiously captured within the procurement system. This person will ensure prompt communication on all purchases and effectively escalate issues with suppliers and/or supervisors when appropriate. \nFor capital purchases, updating the Bill of Materials with the pertinent quote and order information \nPerform analysis of procurement spend for projects, departments or commodity codes as needed to support business operations \n\nBroadcast Equipment Consulting (10%)\nGenerate and maintain key relationships with all customer’s departments to learn their needs and better understand what technologies are coming up \nConsult with customers to provide equipment expertise and recommendations as requested and/or needed \nEngage in project meetings to identify any technology needs \nScan all technology procurement requests to ensure its completeness and will maintain a thorough and well-rounded knowledge of broadcast equipment features, functions, and specifications \n\nSupplier Account Management (10%)\nMaintain good relationships with key suppliers and ensure the procurement system is kept up-to-date with the key supplier information \nEnsure that any supplier issues will be escalated to the Tech Procurement Manager, in a timely manner \nGenerate supplier scorecards monthly \nAnalyze supplier performance to decisions about preferred suppliers and those selected for RFP and RFQ \n\nProcess Improvement (10%)\nSeek, recommend, and implement opportunities for improvement in procurement processes. This may involve collaborating with other procurement team members or end users to streamline activities for the benefit of the operation. \n\nMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n5+ years of technology procurement experience \nMust be customer service oriented \nMust be a team player and able to work in a team-centric environment \nMust be an excellent communicator, both orally and written \nMust be detail oriented \nMust be able to understand complex processes and is good at seeing how various items relate to each other at a macro-level \nMust be accurate and able to self-audit, be resourceful to find answers and make educated decisions, and be able to operate in an ambiguous fast-paced environment \nTeam player and self-starter with interpersonal and solution-oriented attitude and an ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment \nAbility to Lead meetings/special projects and develop process improvements. \nDisplay ability to delegate or “manage up” \n\nTechnical knowledge/skills in the following areas: \nAriba or SAP experience \nSharePoint 2010 or higher \nFull understanding of Procure 2 Pay process \nMS Office Suite, including Visio process flows, PowerPo\n\nDESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS \nTechnology procurement experience \nAn understanding of the WM Technology organization \nKnowledge of existing WMTO processes & tools \n\nEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience \nCITAM or other ITAM certifications (Preferred)How We Get Things Done…
