Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. This role is hybrid- in office weekly with some remote days. 

The Sr Analyst, Workforce Analytics (Business, Dealer Financial Services) is a member of our HR Workforce Analytics team whose vision is to be a trusted ally for transformative workforce decisions supporting our HRBPs and the business leaders. This individual contributor role will be responsible for strategic reporting, story-building, dashboard modeling, conducting research, analytic projects & experiments with the clear understanding of insights and trends to support our business. We partner with an exceptional technology team and progressive analytics teams in the business to change how work gets done. This individual should be a focused and a critical problem solver, storyteller, learner, and innovator and want to work in an environment focused on using modern big data technology and practices.

The Work Itself Understand assigned businesses' HR strategy (recurring business cycles, needs, and ways of working) to deliver analytical needs accordingly Support to define and update the data strategy required to enable the HRBPs to become more data-driven Help HRBPs become analytically savvy and confidently tell credible data stories Identify data quality issues and report them to COE data stewards, and thereby help improve the quality of data Translate analytical outputs into easily digestible and relevant insights Partner with HR Advisory organization to understand the depth and breadth of talent insights, trends from the business perspective and incorporate them to support stakeholders Utilize data analytics expertise to educate & coach the HR and business users solving right business problems Work with stakeholders and translate a business problem into an analytical question(s) and influence analytical design decisions Develop compelling, data driven narratives and stories and help in understanding insights or point to make informed decisions Become proactive around sharing the relevant insights and support business priorities Understand the difference between meaningful insights and noise and use those insights to drive better business decision making Knows how to leverage insights created by machine learning, predictive analytics, deep learning, NLP, etc. Building collaborative relationships making HR stakeholders and their needs a primary focus of your actions Accomplishes some of tasks and duties through the leadership and supervision of others Duties and assignments range from routine to more difficult and varied in nature Solves problems ranging from routine in nature to those of higher complexity Partner closely with COE data stewards and ensure the COEs define right lead and lag metrics to support business; provide recommendations for enhancement in Workday and Power BI as needed Partner with HRBPs (and right COE data stewards when needed) to create insights, do research / workforce studies to support business needs Gather reporting, dashboarding and scorecard requirements for HRBPs and business leaders and provide reporting support Gather external trends and insights and translate them into business context The Skills You Bring 3+ years of data/ business analytics and consulting experience requiredExperience working with HR data, Workforce Analytics preferredBachelor's degree required. Degree in Math, Statistics or Computer Science preferred.Agile environment is preferredExperience in exploratory analysis“Credible Data First” attitude while working with the stakeholders.Experience in data quality process and tools to lead data driven approachAbility to work under limited supervision, with a strong work ethic and high degree of self-motivation.Able to manage competing priorities in a changing environmentAbility to work in an ambiguous and matrixed environment while demonstrating teamwork and collaborationStrong in MS Excel and PowerPoint as tools to convey insights and analysesStrong project management skills

Base Pay Range: $85000 - $150000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.  Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
