How will you make an impact in this role?

Global Treasury Controllership (“GTC”) is responsible for providing comprehensive transactional support including trade capture, servicing, settlement, valuation, accounting, reporting and balance sheet and income statement analytics for various Treasury related products.  Products supported include deposits, long term debt, derivatives, collateral, investments and secured funding transactions. The team acts as a second line of defense in various organization-wide funding initiatives.

This role provides an amazing opportunity to shape the daily control processes for trade capture, settlement and reporting for the organizations funding products.  The Senior Analyst plays a key function in ensuring accurate and timely trade execution and post-trade processing.  This position is responsible for supporting the Treasury Funding and Execution Desk in trade capture, monitoring lifecycle events, resolving settlement issues and discrepancies and preparing key performance indicators/analysis.  In addition, a successful candidate will ensure new funding products are integrated into the Firm’s systems accurately and in a controlled manner. 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Responsible for daily Trade Support functions for debt, derivatives, fair value hedges, and investment transactions Ensure trades executed by Treasury are accurate captured and validated Monitor full life cycle of trades from execution to settlement Collaborate with key stakeholders including Cash Management, Regulatory Reporting, Legal Entity Controllership and Reporting to ensure adherence to internal and external controls/regulations Maintain Treasury Management System (“TMS”) including static data, product testing and system configuration Provide balance sheet and PnL analysis to support internal partners including market commentary Contribute to Key Performance and Risk Issue metrics Ensure controls & compliance with prevailing policies & procedures such as SOX, Process Risk Self-Assessment (PRSA), etc.  Help mitigate operational risk and increase efficiency by identifying process improvements 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required. Requires basic accounting knowledge at a minimum 3+ years experience in trade support or relevant financial services experience is required Familiarity with funding financial products and processes. Knowledge of treasury related activities a plus Experience managing and analyzing data, trade details, and P&L attributes Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail and analytical skills with an ability to solve complex trade issues Financial Markets acumen Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills. Focus on delivery and impact proven track record in delivering results and achieving goals Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize independently Positive attitude: willingness to learn and think outside of the box

Preferred Qualifications

Bloomberg experience is a plus Prior experience general ledger systems a plus

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
