Becoming the best airline is an adventure. And our Pricing Revenue Management team is providing fuel for that journey by ensuring that we maximize our ticket revenue on every single flight across our network – both domestically and internationally – while giving our customers various product offerings for their travel. By analyzing market trends and forecasting consumer demand, this team works hard to ensure we are selling the right number of tickets at the right price to optimize our revenue and run a profitable airline.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive incremental revenues in a project management role to build new and improved existing Pricing technologies and business processes, coordinating cross-functional implementation of systems changes with all RM market groups, and the RMIT and Analytics Innovation teams. Support department training by crafting materials, assisting with new hire onboarding, and facilitating ongoing education.

Act as a resource for Pricing market groups to investigate and resolve core support issues, coordinating with IT when vital.Evaluate project ideas and requests received by the team, determine benefits, feasibility, and develop testing and implementation plans and timelines.Develop practical and theoretically grounded mentorship to support the department’s decisions working collaboratively with RMIT and Analytics Innovation teams.Support training needs by collaborating on training material creation, assisting with onboarding, and otherwise facilitating the initial and continuing education needs of the departmentApply subject-matter expertise to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of team projects by analyzing data and detecting patterns with minimal direction.Test hypotheses based on subject area expertise. Analyze and detect patterns in data, with minimal guidance.Support definition of problems and plans in ways that can be solved using quantitative techniques and implemented through development of automated systems or procedural techniquesLead user testing for system improvements, collect feedback from users, and deliver findings. Support identification and research of business opportunities in the Pricing Management areas.Work with RDS and PDS leadership to plan strategic directions for systems and business processes. Support cross-departmental efforts to implement solutions where necessary.Participate in discussion with collaborators both inside and outside the department and transform feedback into business requirements for systems development. Communicate recommendations optimally to management.Support documentation efforts of Pricing systems and business processes.Ensure that the department has the right tools and processes it needs to improve RASM.Please Note: This is a Houston-based, hybrid role with an apx. 50-75% in office requirement.
