Key Responsibilities:The Senior Analyst - Catering SMS Data administers and continously improves the Catering SMS program and related safety and security systems. This role supports Catering at Corporate SMS and Corporate Security meetings as appropriate and will lead and/or participate in cross-departmental efforts to identify/mitigate risks. This role assists in the responses to system-wide Catering non-compliance notices form external and internal entities. Additionally, this role is heavily focused on data mining and in-depth analysis. Also, this role provides training and focused communication to maintain a safe and secure culture within Catering and across to our service partners.
Supports team effort to ensure that Catering SMS is administered and continuously improved, while ensuring that all four pillars of SMS (Promotion, Policy Org, Assurance, Risk Management) are robustly incorporated into the Catering businessPrepares all materials and leads discussions to support SMS (SRT, SAT, DAG) meetings and system-wide efforts to identifying risks (hazard identification), assess risks (SRAs) and develop risk mitigation plansServes as a back-up liaison to regulatory agencies (FAA, TSA) as well as Corporate Safety and Corporate Security while researching and preparing materials for any external non-compliance notices (CANs, LOIs) as well as internal system related Catering noticesBecomes subject matter expert in data sources pertaining to Safety Security, integrates data to establish trends, identifies risks and opportunities to mitigate risks, and provides consistent reporting to measure progress against department safety/security goals, objectives, and critical metricsAdvocates for a safe and secure culture across United and provides partners with insights and communications/training to improve safety/security processes, policy and procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance against United and regulatory requirementsUnited values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply.
