Responsibilities

Pivotal in enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness, primarily through data analysis and process improvement, this role involves analyzing complex data sets to identify trends and inefficiencies, recommending strategies to streamline operations, and implementing cost-reduction initiatives. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will lead and support cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and adhere to deadlines and quality standards. Effective communication and collaboration with various departments are essential. This role also demands staying up-to-updated with industry trends, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and providing leadership and mentorship to junior staff. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional critical thinking skills, and the capability to lead initiatives that significantly enhance operational performance.

 

Serve as a key point of contact for client stakeholders, providing data-driven insights and reporting to support decision-making.Develop and present regular reports, dashboards, and analysis to both internal leadership and external clients.Collaborate with client teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and deliver actionable solutions.Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.Participate in client meetings, providing updates on key metrics, trends, and performance indicators.Translate complex data sets into clear, compelling presentations tailored to client needs.Respond to client inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and escalate challenges as needed to ensure seamless support.Maintain process ownership for critical operational systems and support basic technology requests to ensure employees can effectively perform their job duties.Build robust processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and partner with stakeholders and teams to improve tools, systems, and measurements for internal and external use.Formulate procedural manuals for all departments and support annual audit requirements.Develop, standardize, and automate processes to drive efficiency and scalability for Hines.Gather, interpret, and use complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results.Develop, implement, and assist teams with refined data collection processes that feed into centralized databases for automation.Collaborate with manager to keep all aspects of the sourcing program current.Coordinate internally and with client on sourcing requirements throughout the year.Support strategic and tactical development with leadership team of business goals, business opportunities, and business needs using data driven mechanisms.Compose summaries and reports using proper format, punctuation, grammar, diction, and style. Qualifications

Minimum Requirement include:

 

Bachelor’s Degree required, focus on business administration, management, planning, finance, information technology or related field preferred.Five or more years of experience in business operations and analytics.Real Estate/Facilities Management/Data Center industry knowledge/experience preferred.Experience with information architecture and data-heavy applications and processes.Experience writing queries and ensuring accurate, consistent data.Experience with data mining, ETL, and knowledge of data warehousing concepts.Experience designing data visualizations and storytelling through data.Expertise in process mapping, process documentation, and process improvement techniques.Expertise in performance management and performance improvement methodologies.Advanced Data Analysis and Data Design: Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets to derive actionable insights. Familiarity with data analysis tools and software is essential.Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to approach problems systematically and use logical reasoning to produce effective solutions.Project Management: Skills in planning, executing, and monitoring projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and objectives.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to articulate findings, present reports, and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of relevant software, databases, and IT systems. Must have advanced proficiency of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, Power BI, and Smartsheet.Diligence: Being meticulous in analyzing data and information to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting and decision-making.Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to lead projects and teams, mentor junior staff, and work collaboratively across different departments.Strategic Thinking: Capability to understand the bigger picture and align operational activities with broader business goals.Adaptability and Flexibility: Being open to change and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.Risk Management and Compliance: Understanding of risk assessment principles and compliance regulations relevant to the industry.Time Management and Organization: Effective prioritization and organization skills to manage a variety of tasks and deadlines in a high-pressure environment.Continuous Learning and Improvement: Eagerness to stay updated with industry trends, modern technologies, and best practices in operations and analytics.Advanced competence with a variety of software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, Smartsheet, and other requested software programs.Flexible work structure with a minimum of four (4) days in the office per week.Minimum 10% travel requirement.Meets the highest attendance and punctuality requirements.Operates personal computers, smartphones, and other office equipment.Climb up and down stairs as part of emergency procedure, practice and/or implementation.Detect emergency alarms - auditory and/or visual.
