Position Summary
Support the corporate affairs function with project management oversight of executive programs for Webster Bank. Support all key corporate internal programs to drive colleague engagement in Company initiatives. Position will ensure the creative production of programs and events, deadlines and budget to ensure timely and seamless execution. Support internal communication including writing for various internal channels. This position includes high-visibility interactions with executive management and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing EMC and Board of Directors special events and programs for Webster Bank and Webster Financial Corporation
Support for the planning and executing of logistics for in-person key internal events
Support content creation and management for internal communications (i.e., intranet, newsletters)
Arrange and execute external events to support Webster corporate sponsorships
Work with corporate communications team and marketing to ensure branding for internal and external usage; participates in the creative development of programming
Manage documentation, status and progress of team projects including quarterly reporting
Manage corporate master calendar and scheduling to optimize communication opportunities
Create enterprise-wide surveys for colleague feedback and strategic planning
Coordinate team invoicing and reconciliations to align with budgets
Oversee contract processing and procurement requirements to manage vendors
Handle file management system to support Corp Comms team
Requirements
Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration.
Experience in working on corporate programming and events
Ability to be self-motivating, strong attention to detail, prioritization of tasks, time management and problem solving
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Strong relationship building skills to foster support in a hybrid working environment
Technical skills should include Microsoft suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to interface with senior management
Be flexible for travel and off hours work related events
The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 USD to $105,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
