Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com. **The team you will be a part of** The Supply and Logistics team is responsible for keeping the appropriate levels of materials and/or stock supplies with the aim to maximize inventory control and company sales. Organizes deliveries to meet given deadlines and customer expectations. Supervises and tracks the flow of materials and products from suppliers throughout the organization. **This role in summary** The purpose of this role is to drive product damage improvements. The role includes category & warehouse (RDC/FDC) accountability for product handling techniques. The person in this role will be accountable to deliver key metrics such as Damage Reduction ($/units), return rate reduction, Warehouse Audit Scores, minimizing 2nd channel inventory, and speed & efficiency of overall processes. Overall the goal of the Logistics Quality & Damage team is to optimize the returns or 2nd channel inventory by minimizing damage which reduces costs and maximizes efficiencies. **Your responsibilities will include** + Analyze data using tools such as Tableau and SAP + Collaborate with 3PL Warehouse Operations on proper handling techniques of products (training, process documentation, audits, process improvements) + Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Packaging, and/or Product teams as SME for Product Handling related needs. + Manage & Drive Project / Process improvements to reduce product damage and return rates + Collaboration with Trade Partner Support & Sales for Trade specific needs around product handling practices + Perform 7 Keys Audit at your assigned Distribution Centers **Minimum requirements** + Bachelor's Degree (supply chain, business, engineering, operations or related) + Technical/Product Knowledge: Tableau, SAP, BEX/BW & WMS systems an asset + Willingness to travel up to 50% (WH or Trade visits, dependent on projects or initiatives) + Work Experience: 3+ years **Preferred skills and experiences** + Other Requirements (certifications, licenses, etc): Logistics or reverse logistics background would be an asset. + Ability to lead through influence and organize large groups/bodies of work are key success factors due to the cross functional nature of the roles. + Proven track record of managing service providers, collaborating with process partners, and delivering on objectives. + Ability to apply Continuous improvement and change management across workstreams. **Additional information** Whirlpool’s Ways of Working Our goal is to provide an environment that helps you bring your best to Whirlpool every day.
