The American Express Enterprise Digital Experimentation & Analytics (EDEA) leads the Enterprise Product Analytics and Experimentation charter for Brand & Performance Marketing and Digital Acquisition & Membership experiences as well as Enterprise Platforms. The focus of this collaborative team is to drive growth by enabling efficiencies in paid performance channels & evolve our digital experiences with actionable insights & analytics. The team specializes in using data around digital product usage to drive improvements in the acquisition customer experience to deliver higher satisfaction and business value
How will you make an impact in this role?
This role will report to the Manager of Marketing Optimization Capabilities Analytics (MOCA) team within Enterprise Digital Experimentation & Analytics (EDEA) and will be based in Gurgaon. The candidate will be responsible for delivery of highly impactful analytics to optimize the performance of Media marketing channels through the application of insights from MOCA models
Collaborate with Data science and marketing partner teams to help build out the MOCA models Deliver read out of models uncovering insights and learnings that can be utilized to further optimize the Media campaign performance Gain deep functional understanding of the channel performance over time and ensure analytical insights are relevant and actionable Power in-depth strategic analysis and provide analytical and decision support by mining campaign performance data and modelling outputs Define and build key KPIs to monitor the channel health and successMinimum Qualifications
1. Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science)
2. Strong programming skills are preferred. Some experience with Big Data programming languages (Hive, Spark), Python, SQL.
3. Experience in large data processing and handling, understanding in data science is a plus.
4. Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, with strong attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and encourage partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Strong analytical/conceptual thinking competence to solve unstructured and complex business problems and articulate key findings to senior leaders/partners in a succinct and concise manner.
2. Basic knowledge of statistical techniques for experimentation & hypothesis testing, regression, t-test, chi-square test.
