**Job Title** Senior Analyst/Economist, Investor Insights **Job Description Summary** This position will reside in the Global Think Tank and will report directly to Global Head of Investor Insights. This position will be responsible for generating thought leadership content and research services that focus on the macroeconomy and the CRE investor and capital markets environment, while also partnering with the Global Think Tank on many other initiatives in supporting the broader enterprise. This includes accompanying brokers to client pitches/presentations, speaking at internal client events and industry events, and contributing on other thought leadership content across the firm. This position will also support data collection/analysis, slide development in supporting business development teams and global think tank initiatives. **Job Description** **Responsibilities:** + Will work with the Global Head of Investor Insights in analyzing the marketplace with a focus on the CRE investor and capital markets themes. + Contribute on global thought leadership initiatives on other product types as well. + Responsible for preparing client-facing resources (house view decks, presentations, papers, articles, videos, talking points) and directly accompanying fee earners and business development team at all levels and all geographies in client pitches/presentations. + Responsible for collaborating with specialty practice groups for producing deliverables that may be used to strengthen existing client relationships, drive new business development, and increase market share globally. + Responsible for assisting and advising clients, both internal and external, on occupier/investor trends that may impact profitability. + Responsible for support global think tank initiatives and presenting on trends that stretch beyond investor (e.g. sometimes called on to present on economic trends, occupier, industrial, etc). + Responsible for increasing firm visibility and establishing Cushman & Wakefield capital markets as the premier thought leader. + Responsible for serving as a point of contact for research services on the capital markets to all regional research leaders, local market leaders, service line leaders, strategic account representatives, and other business development professionals. + Will work across team and departments to develop systems and databases related to CRE capital markets and investor audience. + Responsible for speaking at industry events, quotes in local and national media, including tv, radio and written publications. **Qualifications:** + 7-10+ years of experience in CRE capital markets, research with a focus on CRE investment themes and client-facing roles + Master’s degree preferred + Exceptional written and oral communication skills + Excellent presentation skills and client-facing expertise + Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization in pursuit of business development + Strong proficiency identifying and visualizing trends utilizing a broad range of CRE third party data providers. + Verbal communication/ articulate/ polished: strong oral and written communication skills + Curiosity: eagerness to uncover unique trends and insights + Connection/relationship building + Adaptability/change/fast pace: ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage processes in a fast-changing environment + Team player/collaboration + Accountability/ownership + Resourcefulness/initiative: ability to successfully resolve problems with minimal direction + Work ethic/grit: proactively gather data and confirm accuracy; tenacity to go above and beyond + Intellectual curiosity: desire to invest time and energy in CRE knowledge + Attention to detail + Critical thinking/problem solving: demonstration of good judgement to make appropriate decisions + Leadership: ability to lead and manage projects and key initiatives, ability to guide and mentor other team members + Advanced Writing skills: proven ability to communicate and analyze market conditions for business development to support internal and external clients + High level presentation skills + Knowledge of the complexities and rules within the CRE industry with the ability to capture, analyze and communicate key market metrics and indicators Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
