General Job Description
This is a professional position responsible for providing strategic support within the division by working collaboratively with various stakeholders to advance strategic priorities and manage special projects that support the university’s commitment to transformative experiences for students. Works under general supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Senior Vice President for Enrollment and Student Engagement.
Essential Job Functions
1. Coordinates and manages special projects on behalf on the Senior Vice President, including but not limited to initiative planning, timeline development, resources tracking, and execution monitoring.
2. Assists in the development and implementation of strategic enrollment initiatives aligned with the university’s enrollment growth objectives.
3. Prepares comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
4. Facilitates cross-functional team meetings and maintains project documentation.
5. Monitors and evaluates program effectiveness through quantitative and qualitative measures.
6. Develops and maintains tracking systems for key performance indicators (KPIs) related to enrollment and student engagement initiatives.
7. Produces assessment reports on project outcomes and strategic initiative effectiveness.
8. Analyzes trends and metrics in support of data-driven decision making in collaboration with the Executive Director of Program Development and Evaluation.
9. Maintains communication with partners and tracks partnership outcomes in collaboration with the Senior Vice President and other staff.
10. Provides strategic input on divisional policies and procedures.

3. Knowledge of student conduct administration practices and procedures.
4. Knowledge of project management methodologies as they relate to a higher education environment.
5. Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and other computer applications including spreadsheet, database, and word processing software.
6. Skill in completing high level assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
7. Organizational skills in managing projects simultaneously while maintaining a satisfactory work product.
8. Ability to set priorities and complete assignments on time.
9. Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
10. Ability to analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues.
11. Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
12. Ability to conduct short-range and long-range project planning studies.
13. Ability to recommend goals and objectives that support the strategic plan and divisional goals.
14. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
15. Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic relationships with colleagues, coworkers, constituents, and volunteers.
16. Ability to work independently under general supervision and as part of a team.
17. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
18. Ability to learn office and university-specific software.
19. Ability to provide support for student development with a demonstrable concern for students.
Physical Demands
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Required Experience and Training
Five years of related experience in higher education administration or a related field is required. Demonstrated experience in project management is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree is preferred. Enrollment management or student affairs experience is preferred. Knowledge of strategic planning and assessment in higher education is preferred. Background in partnership development or community relations is preferred. Familiarity with customer relationship management ( CRM ) systems and enrollment management technology is preferred.

Benefit and Retirement Eligibility
This position is eligible for participation in the Teacher Retirement System of Texas ( TRS ) retirement plan, subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
