Ally’s CFO Group is driving a comprehensive, multi-year finance transformation program. As we continue to build out the infrastructure to support the various transformation initiatives, we are looking for a talented Senior Analyst to help drive the CFO Data Strategy and successful execution of a finance data warehouse, which will establish a centralized data platform serving as a single source of truth for all finance data. The ideal candidate will have proven data management skills, prior finance experience, an ability to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic environment, and a passion for driving organizational value through data. 

The Work Itself Support definition, measurement and reporting on KPIs to measure operational performance and project success for their workstream/domain Track, resolve and escalate program risks, issues, actions, and decisions for their workstream/domain Guide finance data solutions, across data ingestion, consumption, analytics enablement, and sound data management controls Serve as a key liaison between the finance process teams and technologies on understanding, interpretation and documentation of business data needs for their workstream/domain and supporting a scrum team Support teams in development of ‘execution playbook’ deliverables, including business cases, change management, test planning, user adoptions, etc. Support Finance Product Owners with data analysis, requirements, validation, epic / story development, status reporting and other tasks Support the planning and delivery of the CFO Group’s data driven transformation, and the implementation of the finance data solution The Skills You Bring Bachelor's degree3+ years of demonstrated experience in either Finance or Data Management (or an equivalent data management execution role within TechnologiesFoundational knowledge of key finance, accounting, and treasury processes (e.g., financial close and consolidation; financial planning and forecasting; financial management and regulatory reporting; treasury operations and cash management; asset and liability management; capital markets)Prior banking industry experience preferredFoundational knowledge of one or more data management disciplines (e.g., data ingestion, data consumption, BI/analytics, data quality, metadata, etc.) strongly preferredProven problem-solving skills, with a breadth of perspective and ability to “connect the dots” even in areas outside one’s primary subject matter expertise, and ability to reach beyond immediate sphere of influence to pull in stakeholders and drive expedient resolutionExcellent organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, making trade-off decisions where necessary to best benefit the organizationAbility to proactively identify and manage risks How We'll Have Your Back

Base Pay Range: $70000 - $120000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.  Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
