Responsibilities

As a member of the Global Valuations and Modeling team, assist with portfolio level analysis, asset performance review, major operational activities, and fund composition evaluation. This role will require an ability to analyze and modify complex financial models. Other responsibilities include coordination and completion of investor-related analysis and requests, as well as producing regular reporting-related deliverables. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform products is highly preferred. 

 

Manage detailed and dynamic fund portfolio models to account for modification of fund structure, reporting requirements, changes to investments, changes to financing, and ad-hoc analysis

Understand and communicate the impact of model changes on asset/fund/investor returns

Prepare analyses in support of asset-level, fund-level, and capital raising decisions and negotiations

Track overall fund liquidity needs considering funds’ major operational activities while ensuring compliance with financing covenants set forth in loan agreements or other applicable restrictions

Assist with fund performance/financial reporting function for assigned fund

Collaborate and coordinate with various stakeholders (Finance, Asset Management, Fund Management, and others) to produce high quality deliverables in a timely manner

Continuously improve models, processes, reporting, and analytics - including use of automation tools

Act as champion of new tools and technology originating from the group to drive high levels of adoption across the organization

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

Strong academic record from a reputable, accredited institutionSolid understanding of financial analysis, investment principles, and variance analysisTwo or more years of relevant experience; Corporate Finance and/or FP&A desiredTwo or more years of experience creating, maintaining, and improving financial models in Excel Have a growth mindset and comfortable “wearing multiple hats” as well as taking ownership of tasksIntermediate knowledge of Excel required; intermediate knowledge of Power Platform products preferredPossess financial modeling skills, detail-oriented with strong analytical mindsetKeen interest in undertaking financial analysis and reporting Ability to assess underlying assumptions in pro-forma models for various asset typesComprehend database architecture and working with large amounts of data with queries and other toolsAbility to understand and articulate portfolio management concepts effectivelyEffectively exchange ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate policies and solve problemsAbility to think creatively and implement solutions across functional teamsDemonstrate strong initiative and aptitude to work independently Must be comfortable with evolving direction and needs of the platform and a fast-growing firm Work indoors majority of the time, but may include some site visits Work overtime as business needs deem appropriateFlexible working schedule Closing
