As the Senior Analyst - Global Compensation, you will analyze, design and administer employer’s global compensation programs, including base pay and short-term pay. You will evaluates jobs, perform market research, determine pay grades, participate in compensation surveys and perform associated analyses. You will ensure that requests for market adjustments are based on market data, internal equity, and budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate global compensation data, trends, and best practices to ensure the company's compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the business strategy and objectives. Participate in global salary surveys and market analysis, and provide recommendations on salary structures, pay ranges, and adjustments based on the results. Conduct job analysis and evaluation, and maintain the global job catalog and grading system. Assist with the development and implementation of global compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures. Support the corporate-wide annual compensation review process, including merit, and incentives by providing data analysis, modeling, and reporting. Support assigned domestic and global HR business partners and managers on compensation programs, practices, and needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HRIS, payroll, benefits, legal, and finance, to ensure the accuracy and compliance of compensation data and processes. Support the compensation team with ad hoc projects and requests as needed.Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required Licenses/Certificates/Designations – Certified compensation professional (CCP or GRP) preferred 5 years required, 7 years preferred, of prior relevant global and domestic compensation experience Experience with job analysis, job evaluation and compensation survey methodology High proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and Vlookups Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify key themes, trends or issues and draw conclusions Strong process management skills Knowledge of global compensation principles, practices, and regulations Experience designing and implementing pay structures, job evaluation systems, reward and recognition programs Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to work autonomously Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWesco International, Inc., including its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Wesco”) provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
