The Senior Analyst – Investment Strategy will report to and directly support the Managing Director of Investment Strategy for the Chief Investment Office (CIO) of Key Wealth. Duties include support for multiple initiatives that center around the establishment of enhanced communication practices between the Chief Investment Office and multiple client-facing segments, including Key Private Bank (KPB) and Key Investment Services (KIS). The primary objective in this role is to provide support that strengthens the effectiveness of KPB Portfolio Strategists/Managers and KIS advisors (collectively referred to as “Advisors”) in their implementation of portfolio guidance, strategies and solutions developed within the Chief Investment Office.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Collective success will be defined by actions to promote collaboration of Key Wealth personnel with the Chief Investment Office that results in expanded integration of CIO portfolio solutions into client portfolios. The Senior Analyst will assist in creating tools to evaluate the impact of CIO advice on client outcomes and will design methods to maximize utilization levels of investment recommendations and offerings across KPB and KIS. This will consist of the following activities and responsibilities:
Internal Investment Communications
– Provide support, research and analysis for a wide range of weekly, monthly and quarterly investment communications initiatives that are either led by the Managing Director of Investment Strategy or at the direction of the Chief Investment Officer. Responsibilities include gathering data and/or preparing analysis and presentations for the following meetings/events:
External/Client Investment Communications
– Provide support/analysis for a wide range of weekly, monthly and quarterly investment communications initiatives that are either led by the Managing Director of Investment Strategy or with the Chief Investment Officer and the Key Wealth Institute. Responsibilities include gathering data and/or preparing analysis/content for the following:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 6-8 years of highly relevant investment experienceFamiliarity with full spectrum of asset classes, and a proponent of multi-strategy solutionsBachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related areaCIMA, CFP or other investment designations or graduate degree in business, fi nance, economics or related area are preferredExceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and outstanding listening skillsExperience in investment/advisory roles directly supporting clients and/or new business opportunitiesTeam orientation and collaborative, and excellent relationship building skillsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; strong proficiency in creation of charts and graphs to articulate/explain investment conceptsStrong proficiency in Morningstar Direct as well as experience with the FRED databaseStrong proficiency in SharePoint and other systemsHigh emotional intelligence and strong sense of selfUncompromising integrity and a “Culture Crusader” for the Chief Investment Office, and KPB as a wholeCOMPETENCIES/SKILLS
