Job Summary
Senior Analyst, Managed Care is responsible for the acquisition, manipulation, reporting and analysis of patient fiscal data related to the provision of services subject to third party payor contracts; the assessment of contract/plan profitability and the development and analysis of proposed reimbursement methodologies, report cards and dashboards; responsible for the maintenance of department payor database & uploading and creating profiles in contract modeling software. Will work closely with finance, IS, HIM, business development, Assist department in development of contract financial terms. Evaluation of payor contract performance, Create and run contract models in contract modeling software.
Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement :
BA/BS in appropriate field preferred. Knowledgeable in SQL, nThrive (formerly MedAssets) contract modeler highly desirable, as well as Meditech, MS-Access, MS-Excel.
b. Minimum Experience Requirement :
Five years of experience functioning in role of data or business analyst, including qualitative analysis. Experience in health plan, IPA, and/or acute healthcare delivery setting. Experience with database and data analysis technology, Microsoft Access & Excel, business analytical tools. Excellent customer service skills required.
c. Minimum License Requirement :
Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.
Pay Range:
$38.19 - $54.61
