Under the direction of the Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, you will assume the responsibilities of Department Manager/Analyst for the Mergers & Acquisitions team concerning the purchase and sale of companies and will work, from time to time, on special projects in the financial field.
Your future duties and responsibilities:-Participate in the process of identifying and qualifying potential targets
-Prepare executive summaries, detailed presentations and analyses of financial results of potential targets for the management team.
-Prepare company valuations based on market multiples and cash flows (DCF)
-Support M&A business partners in coordinating the due diligence process
Perform certain post-acquisition follow-ups and transition activities for acquired companies, including support in the preparation of purchase price allocations
-Participate in the development and maintenance of the M&A team's database
-Ensure strategic monitoring of news related to potential targets
-Participate in the maintenance and improvement of the team's various financial models and templates
-Prepare analyses for the potential sale of certain divisions
-Prepare certain reports for CGI's senior management.
- First-level university degree in finance or accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in M&A
