Position Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Program Analyst with a strong background in quality and manufacturing engineering to manage key processes in the aerospace industry. This role involves handling documentation, coordinating with engineering teams, and working closely with suppliers to ensure that tooling, materials, and program deliverables are on track. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating technical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and manage Request for Conformity Inspections (RFCs) using internal systems.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to verify Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure the correct part numbers, revision levels, and drawing dates are used.
* Track program status in meetings and provide updates on tooling and shipping requirements to stakeholders.
* Coordinate with suppliers to track delivery dates, manage program logistics, and ensure materials and tools are delivered on time.
* Work with the internal team to issue requests for new product approvals and shipping, managing all necessary requisitions.
* Support the procurement process by creating requisitions for materials and tooling, ensuring smooth and timely orders.
* Participate in daily meetings to report RFC status and ensure everything aligns with the compliance work scope.
Required Qualifications
* Experience in quality or manufacturing engineering.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, particularly in aerospace or industrial contexts.
* Working knowledge of aerospace materials and machining or fabrication processes.
* Strong collaboration skills, especially when working with program managers, purchasing, and quality teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience working with GE Aerospace or similar industries.
* A 4-year degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
