Senior Analytics Consultant - Sr AVP

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant.


In this role, you will:

Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factorsPerform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needsDevelop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancementsLead or participate on large cross group projectsMentor less experienced staffCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLeverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modelingBachelor’s degree but post-graduation is preferable in engineering or equivalent, Postgraduate in Business, Engineering, Economics and Stats preferred.Strong Knowledge and understanding of complex databases (Teradata, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL etc.)Expertise in programming utilities (SAS/SQL, Python etc.)Experience in business intelligence tools (Power BI(Report Builder and Power Automate), Tableau etc.)Experience in reports and dashboards (Excel); Experience in Automation (Macro, RPA etc.)Experience in EDA, Predictive assessments using Machine Learning techniquesExperience with iterative development approach (Agile)Experience with source control (GitHub)Experience with issue and project tracking (JIRA)

Independently ensure flawless service delivery working directly with stake-holdersIdentify process improvement opportunities and deliver efficiency / person hours savingIdentify Innovation opportunities and build analytical solutionsWorkflow management and make the process audit readyMentor junior/campus joinersAssist leadership team to build new capabilities
