Ecolab is searching for a driven Senior Analytics Engineer for future opportunities within our Supply Chain division in Pune, India.
As a part of the Data Operations team, you will be responsible for continuous improvements in business intelligence and advanced analytics. You will lead the development of new digital products providing critical insights that help solve business challenges. The successful candidate will lead efforts to improve the Global Supply Chain data understanding across the organization through improved process, governance, and data management.

Serve as a liaison among stakeholders to analyze, document, and validate data requirements.Perform in areas of data discovery, gap analysis, integration strategy, design dimensional model.Design, develop, support of ETL pipelines, tables, views, stored procedures.Develop, test, and operationalize Power BI semantic data models.Contribute to the creation of processes for improving data quality across the enterprise.Collaborate with business and product teams to document data definition in the data catalog tool.Navigate the adoption of modern data architecture for current and future analytics.Ability to work independently, establish objectives, and communicate project plans and milestones.Contribute to knowledge management activities by identifying and updating knowledge as requested and required.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and participating in improvement projects.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 8 years of experience in business intelligence role.Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure, Snowflake or Columnar databases.Experience with data and scripting languages, such as SQL, PL/SQL and Python.Experience of ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, and API interfaces.Concepts of transactional and dimensional data model design.Proficient in Power BI, DAX studio, Tabular editor, partitioning, dataset refresh optimization.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in data science areas such as time series analysis, forecasting, classification, and regression analysis in Databricks platform.Experience with end-to-end automation, app development in Streamlit or Python.Managing and delivering multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously.Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodology.Ability to create, implement, document, and continuously improve processes in a changing environment.Experience working with global cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical expertise.Desire to advance career in data leadership at enterprise level.Experience designing and building standard reports and dashboards in a global setting.Experience in the Supply Chain data domain is a plus.Master’s degree preferred with emphasis in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Data Science.A trusted partner for millions of customers, Ecolab is a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life.
