Caterpillar Inc. seeks Senior Analytics Project Leader at its facility located at 500 N Morton Ave, Morton, IL 61550.

Responsible for managing projects, providing supply chain expertise to programmers and team members as well as working with process partners to ensure we understand the Voice of the Customer (VOC). Work to improve the data and reporting in Caterpillar’s Parts organization. Act as a spokesperson for the team in meetings with multiple levels of management, and with assigned customers. Work to develop new data and reporting functionality for assigned businesses and customers that will assist the team by operating more efficiently and effectively. Work to resolve problems and roadblocks to ensure the success of the project team. Utilize previous experience in data transformation (ETL), SAS, SQL (Snowflake), Power BI (DAX & M-code), as well as supply chain knowledge to provide data and reporting functionality for the Caterpillar Parts organization. Telecommuting: 2 days/week.

REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Supply Chain, Mathematics, Programming, Data Analytics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field, plus 3 years of experience as a Supply Chain Performance Engineer or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) SAS or SQL, experience in at least 1 of these systems (Log Net, SAP, Snowflake); (2) Data mining and data analytics in large data sets; (3) Supply chain process improvements, and supply chain management in a business environment with experience writing programs and organizing data to improve processes; and (4) Power BI reporting.

Summary Pay Range:  

$87,048- $189,000

Compensation and benefits may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market, location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.  Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
