A Kforce client is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join their team in San Mateo, CA. Summary: In this role, the Senior Android Developer will play a key role in developing our client's voice and messaging platform on Android. Responsibilities include building high-performance, scalable applications with integrated voice, video, and messaging capabilities. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications focused on voice and messaging (e.g., voice calling, chat, real-time notifications) * Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Java and Kotlin * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features * Work with real-time communication protocols (WebRTC, SIP, etc.) * Optimize app performance for audio quality, latency, and bandwidth * Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers * Troubleshoot and debug performance, crashes, and other issues * Own projects end-to-end, from ideation to deployment * Make data-driven decisions for customer-centric solutions * Deploy features to millions of users with an immediate impact
