PSE's IT Application Solutions team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Senior App Configuration Analyst- Observability position!

We are seeking a skilled Splunk Developer to design, implement, and maintain our Splunk environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing Splunk solutions to enhance data visibility, create meaningful dashboards, and provide actionable insights across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Splunk applications, dashboards, and reports to meet business requirements
• Create and optimize complex Search Processing Language (SPL) queries for data analysis and visualization
• Configure and manage data inputs, forwarders, and indexers in the Splunk environment
• Develop and implement custom alerts and monitoring solutions
• Create and maintain documentation for Splunk implementations and processes
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize Splunk deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Provide technical guidance and support to end users
• Implement best practices for data collection, retention, and security
• Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities.
• Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.
• Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct.
• Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
• Splunk Certified Developer or Architect certification
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES)
• Knowledge of ITSI (IT Service Intelligence)
• Experience with REST APIs and web services
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts

The pay range for this position is $99,600.00 - $175,200.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
