Job Summary:
We are looking for Senior AppDev Consultant in Red Hat Seoul office, Korea.
The role of the Senior AppDev Consultant will be focused at the core around the processes necessary to drive the adoption of Red Hat’s Middleware either through migration or modernization of our customers’ environments. In this role, you will work closely with Red Hat Consulting, sales, pre-sales engineers, and other groups to achieve your goals.
The Senior AppDev Consultant will act as a customer advocate with these organizations to architect the right solutions and to ensure that those solutions are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way.
Extensive experience with Red Hat technologies is not required, but you will be expected to learn our product and solution offerings quickly.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Delivering successful discovery, analysis and design workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence the customer's use cases and architecture design decisions
Scoping delivery projects and guiding customers through successful pilot and production deployments
Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk
8+ years of experience in a Application Architect, Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect or Architect consulting delivery role
Proven track record of working in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT operations and engineering professionals, and business executives
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including extensive experience presenting even to C-level executives
Address the client's technical, development, and strategic IT requirements as the main point of contact for Red Hat professional services
Use industry practices alongside Red hat's policies and procedures to solve diverse problem
Experience across one or more vertical industry areas preferred
Comfortable working with highly distributed teams, including interaction with the Open Source communities via Email and other communication tools.
Solutions sales experience in an environment with multiple products and services
Demonstrate thought leadership in middleware community by producing good white papers, webinars, etc. and speaking at seminars and conferences.
Required Skills:
Background in architecting and designing complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain
Background in lightweight application architecture including microservices and APIs
Good presentation and communication skills in Korean and English
Knowledge and operational experience on new services methodologies related to next generation Application Migration and Modernization, platform as a service, or Agile and DevOps.
Competence to quickly embrace and understand new technologies; ability to assimilate new information and understand complex topics
Multiple years focused on application development, maintenance, and support including their supporting infrastructure
Extensive knowledge of JEE servers like WebSphere and WebLogic, API, Web Services, Spring Framework, and etc.
Proven ability to work with distributed cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers.
The ability to self-study and quickly learn and put into practice new topics
Passion for Open Source, software, tooling, and automation
