Q2 is seeking a Senior Application Analyst who will work closely with Business Analysts, Data Management/Analytics, Integration Developers, and the Superuser community for Q2’s Atlassian ecosystem, focusing on Jira and Confluence. This person is considered the technical subject matter expert for the platform and related add-ons and ancillary systems. They perform complex tasks such as integrations, reporting, and developing workflows to support new business requirements and serve as the designer for the best configuration and implementation of new functionality. They are also responsible for developing the strategic ecosystem roadmap while ensuring the ongoing integrity of operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs IT functions such as design, evaluation, testing, debugging, implementation and integration of application programs supporting Q2 Atlassian suite and related processes and operations for Q2.Manage projects to enhance and improve our Atlassian tools, as prioritized by Q2 business partners. For example, creating advanced automation based upon business needs.Analyzes, acquires, installs, modifies and supports add-ons for the Atlassian ecosystemServes as Atlassian technical expert, performing complex tasks such as integrations, reporting, developing workflows, and ensuring system integrityTechnical lead for the implementation of new functionality and modules, upgrades and patchesDevelops the strategic roadmap and synchronizes with related enterprise portfolio ecosystemsTroubleshoots incidents or issues to identify root cause, fix issues, and mitigate future risksAs expert on Atlassian ecosystem, stays up to date on releases and functionality to help Q2 utilize the latest features to align the technical roadmap to the business needsManages the vendor and contractor relationships for the various products within the Atlassian ecosystemResponsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered toProactively communicates and leads the key relationships among business stakeholders related to Jira and ConfluenceManages their individual work within Agile practices, allowing visibility to team and business stakeholders for progress and timelines.EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in technical application analysis with 5+ years specifically with Jira and ConfluenceTypically requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or Computer ScienceExperience setting up and managing JSM a plus.Expert proficiency with Office productivity tools such as PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel and OutlookAdvanced knowledge of Atlassian applications and certification course work a plus Ability to effectively work with business Superusers, IT business analysts and project managers to ensure consistency with strategic directionUnderstanding of change management principles associated with new technology implementationsFamiliarity and experience working in an Agile environmentUnderstanding of project management principlesExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter with proven ability to deliver resultsThis position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
