Overview

We are looking for a Senior Application Developer to join our team. This position will directly report to the Senior Director Applications and Data and is responsible for providing solution designs and implementations in collaboration with other key stakeholders.

Ability to create designs, recommend, implement, and oversee technical solutions in the following domains: devops, data solutions, application/data integration and applicationsAbility to document the current and future states as part of a multi-year roadmap and see that each project considers steps that should be taken to attain longer-term roadmap goalsWork with multiple vendors to implement and complete projects ensuring implementations are in line with multi-year solution roadmaps as appropriateProvide support to Business Relationship Managers and end users as requiredProvide backup support and input to both the data architect and solution architect roles About You Minimum of an Associates Degree in MIS or Computer Science but will accept relevant experience to produce the needed outcomes8+ years experience in solution design, development and implementationsStrong full stack programming skillsFamiliarity with various development tools and technologiesAbility to create designs, implement and oversee the implementation of solutions that span data, applications, enterprise workflow, automation and application integrationKnowledge of Database design, development, web application frameworks and devopsAble to recommend, oversee and guide contractors to build solutions that not only meet the business requirements at hand, but also follow Gentiva standards and lead to the fulfilment of a multi-year strategic roadmap Able to obtain business requirements and map them to documented standardized technical designs that achieve functional and non-functional requirements, properly selecting the correct solution components supporting both short term and long-term goalsDevelop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications, ensuring rapid and reliable software deliveryWork closely with development, QA functions, and operations teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure seamless integration of new featuresUnderstand how to remediate and avoid technical debt, and how to architect solutions that are supportable, maintainable and move us forward toward multi-year roadmap objectivesExperience in managing projects, setting timelines, and ensuring that goals are metStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical issuesExcellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage conflicts and make strategic decisions.
