Senior Application Developer

Position Summary:

•    Provides design, development, implementation and support of information technology, including database applications and operating systems.  

What you will do as a Senior Application Developer: Designs, develops, codes, tests debugs and documents programming applications to satisfy requirements of one or more user areas. Provides comprehensive technical consultation to business unit and I.T. management and staffs. Works closely with the Applications Systems Analyst to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes to develop or modify existing systems to support the business. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations. Provides resource and reference to technical support staff regarding any issues involving programming applications. The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed:

Required:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 8 to 10 years experience in a development environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Working knowledge of .Net core, SQL Server and/or Oracle, C#, ASP.NET, JSON, React with Redux, Git, Azure DevOps.

 

Preferred skills:

Soft skills include analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and the ability to mentor team members that contributes to team growth. What STERIS Offers:

 Pay range for this opportunity is $78,500.00 - $109,987.50. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

 

Employees (and their families) may enroll in our company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, voluntary benefits, supplemental life/AD&D plans and the company’s 401k plan. Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability.  Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
