The Opportunity:
The Hybrid Compute Initiative (HCI) Program Management Office (PMO) provides secure, scalable commercial cloud technologies and service across the global cryptologic enterprise.

Responsibilities:

Networking knowledge from the VPC layer to the AWS layer. A bit of Help Desk – “How do we guide the customer to the solution?” Shared responsibility model

Perform tasks which span across network fabrics to perform commercial clous support, software integration and migration, integration and testing, documentation development and maintenance, security, network and system monitoring, and configuration and release management.

Provide technical experience and knowledge of peer-to-peer distributed storage networks, peer-to-peer routing and and application messaging frameworks

Provision and sustain network infrastructures.  Develop, operate, and manage cloud networks required to operate in a secure PKI, IPSEC, SDN, and/or VPN enabled environments

Evaluate and integrate emerging cyber security technologies for production uses such as DNS, routing load balancers, dataflow technologies, audit capturing tools and techniques, host-based IDS, network IDS, etc.

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Open Source products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as Hbase, Accumulo, Big Table, HDFS, etc.  Demonstrate knowledge of analytical needs and requirements, query syntax, data flows, and traffic manipulation.

Provide subject matter expertise to existing and future commercial cloud fabrics and framework to ensure infrastructure systems and operations are available, reliable, and resilient.  Verify and validate system functionality after implementing changes.

Develop revolutionary solutions and prototypes with and for the commercial cloud framework in accordance with the Government's tasking roadmap.

Continually assess and refine environments to determine applicability for continuously improving the standards and processes, based upon DoD and industrial best practices.

Deliver demonstrations, technical findings reports, engineering and design artifacts, service delivery test plans and results, whitepapers, diagrams, and briefings, and other related technical documentation.

Qualifications:

Required:
General AWS Knowledge
Cloud Infrastructure Management/knowledge
Focus more on Guidance than hands on development.
Will maintain cloud policy and implementation (will work closely with Y6)
Configure VPCs

Education:
12 years minimum experience and a High school Diploma/GED
10 years minimum experience and an Associate’s degree
8 years minimum experience and a Bachelor’s degree
6 years minimum experience and a Master’s degree
4 years minimum experience and a Doctorate’s degree
All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,300
