Senior Application Engineer (UI/UX) Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: LATTEART is the agency's implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF). LATTEART is a series of applications that fill in various gaps of the agency's RMF needs to include System Registration, Exemption Tracking, Patch Management, and System Monitoring. System Monitoring makes up the bulk of the work LATTEART does on a day-to-day basis. However, this distribution of applications, in conjunction with external partner apps results in difficulties for users navigating the RMF process. The current process forces users to jump from website to website filling out different pieces of information. LATTEART is tasked with creating a unified RMF infrastructure that can hold the entire process in one location. Responsibilities: As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project. The Application Engineer (UI/UX) will provide the development, testing, deploying, and sustainment of various web-based capabilities utilizing Angular 14 or higher which will interact with ReST end points to make requests, receive formatted responses, and visualize, in various details, the data to UI front ends. The Application Engineer will focus on creating single page application dashboards and provide mockups for new development. Qualifications: Required: + 12 years minimum experience and a High school Diploma/GED + 10 years minimum experience and an Associate’s degree + 8 years minimum experience and a Bachelor’s degree + 6 years minimum experience and a Master’s degree + 4 years minimum experience and a Doctorate’s degree + All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions. + Experienced with using TypeScript JavaScript language + Experienced in using Angular Framework to develop user interfaces + Experienced with analyzing json data structure when working with the ReST + Experienced with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to enhance the look and feel of user interfaces **_User Experience (UX) Required Qualifications:_** + Experience with analyzing feature requirements, user feedback, and creating design schematics and wireframes to support feature needs. + Experience with utilizing software products such as Balsamiq for creating wireframes **_User Interface (UI) Design Required Qualifications:_** + Experience in using Balsamiq to create creative designs and mocking up web application designs for customer review. + Experience in design configuration management so that proper revisions of designs are well managed + Experience with presenting designs to team and customers to clearly explain the designs intent + Experienced with Gitlab feature branch management, writing feature test procedures, and performing code review within Gitlab + Experienced with code release builds for different environments such as Development, Testing, and Production.
