Job Title: Senior Application Programmer
Job Location: Remote (must work east coast hours)

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role of the Sr. Application Programmer is to provide website
development support to a client. Responsibilities include but are not
limited to the following:
- Create and maintain web-based systems for Advanced Energy group.
Works with analysts, QA testers and other members of the IT team to
refine requirements and implement solutions.
- Assists with data processing, query development, data visualization
and statistical analysis tasks.
- Ability to provide data integration services: acquire, cleanse,
merge, validate, visualize and data mine.
- Troubleshoots and finds fixes for problems, sometimes under time
constraints.
- Assists in planning for deployments and roll-out.
- Contributes to meetings and communication with other members of the
team to share problems, solutions and ideas.
BASIC QUALIFICATION
- Strong understanding of web services programming
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team – both in
writing and verbally- for status, technical requirements review,
and solution planning
- Good understanding of Python Scripting and SQL Programming
- Experience with UI/UX, design intuitive and user-friendly
interfaces
- Experience with code error handling on both client and server
sides DOT.NET and Information Internet Services (IIS) experience
- Skills of software unit testing and code review
- 5 years of experience development using MVC, C#
- 2 years of experience coding in MS Dynamics CRM versions 365,
knowledge and experience with upgrade procedures desirable
- Well versed in use of code repository and collaboration tools –
JIRA, Bitbucket |
- 2 years Hands-on experience in mobile applications development
and user experience programming
DESIRED SKILLS
- Familiarity and experience with Splunk Log Aggregation system
- Experience with content management systems and tools, i.e. WordPress
Plugins
- Experience with automated regression testing and Selenium
- Experience with software accessibility implementation i.e. Section
508 compliance
- Integration experience with Web Services and Mulesoft Application
Program Interface (API’s) (RAML, Any Point Platform, JSON)
- Knowledge of AWS Data Stack using S3, Data Pipeline. Amazon,
Redshift, Amazon Athena, Amazon Quick Sight.
- Experience with DEVOPS and CI/CD operations
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or
equivalent experience/combined education, with 8 years of professional
experience; or 5 years of experience required with a related master’s
degree.
