**Senior Applications Engineer** The **_Senior Applications Engineer is_** a direct customer-contact position responsible for delivering technical support to internal and external customers (including US-eyes programs), facilitating effective use of all Curtiss-Wright developed products (hardware & software) – with a specific focus on FPGA-based products, tools and applications. What you Bring: + Ability to program in ‘C.’ + Working knowledge of: + FPGA design architectures and development environments (tools, compilers, simulators, IP) + AMD/Xilinx FPGA architectures including UltraScale, Zynq/Ultrascale+ MPSoC and Versal ASoC devices + FPGA development environments using AMD Vitis and Vivado design tools + HDL and Verilog as well as visual application IDE's + Understanding of high-performance sensor processing and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) techniques + Strong knowledge of Linux for application development, including AMD PetaLinux + Knowledge/experience with CameraLink desirable + Track record in problem solving, with desire and ability to learn quickly; + Strong interpersonal skills with customer-centric focus and ability to maintain satisfied customer relationships; + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group presentation skills; + Self-motivated and team oriented, capable of managing time & priorities well under pressure; + Familiarity with Real Time operating systems (like VxWorks) is an asset; + A working knowledge of one or more of the following: VME, PCI. PCIe, MPSOC implementations is an asset; + Ability to use tools such as in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers, JTAG probes, oscilloscopes, etc. to debug/investigate hardware operation is an asset. + BS, Computer Science or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. + Minimum 4 years relevant experience + Experienced in the debug of real-time applications or embedded systems is preferred. + Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to customers’ sites.
